![]() Pak Klong Talad, Flower, fruit and vegetable market review
Address Pak Klong Talad literally means “a market by the mouth of the canal”. It's the collective name for five adjacent markets, which have altogether been transformed to become the biggest and most important wholesale market and distribution centre for vegetable, flowers and fruits. Tons of roses, orchids and tropical flowers wrapped in newspapers are sold at very cheap prices. The quantity and many colours and fragrances are impressive. Description:

user experience
Bangkok - user Charlot - 23/07/2007
Just after arriving in Bangkok for three years, someone told me about this site with a lot of great tips and advices. The restaurant Spring has become our old time favorite! No problems getting there because the taxi driver took us straight there the first time. Surely, we would have never known about this place if it was not mentioned here. And the ‘too expensive’ and ‘discount please’ in Thai worked very well at Chatuchak Weekend Market; I got a some good bargains. Great site, my compliments!
